Southeast Arizona: The Perfect Place to Live and Play!

| | Comments (0) | TrackBacks (0)
Nestled against the Dragoon Mountains and the famous Cochise Stronghold in the Coronado National Forest, the Sunsites area offers world-class hiking, biking, camping, horseback riding, and nature study.  To the east, the Chiricahua Mountains create a "wonderland of rocks" that is protected by a national monument.  Tall pines, whispering streams and the chatter of squirrels take the place of honking cars.  Organic farms and U-pick farms and orchards dot the landscape, drawing customers to farm-fresh produce.  Little wonder that those who visit this area return again and again.  As a permanent vacation getaway, Southeast Arizona is a place like no other.
Some of the recent developments include the completed Cochise Storage Units on the west side of Highway 191, located just before the village entrance.  Cochise Storage is actually the third set of storage units in our community.
The new Broken Arrow Church has completed construction along the east side of Highway 191 and is open for services at this time.  The original location of the church is slated for renovation and reuse as the future Shadow Mountain Club House.
The Sunsites Community Library, a branch of the Cochise County Library System, will be adding "Wi-Fi" wireless networking this summer to expand public computer access.  Library computers offer internet access, Microsoft Office, reference tools, and even children's learning games.
The immediate area surrounding the community centerpiece of the Shadow Mountain Golf Club is welcoming two new businesses.  The former Single Tree Restaurant has been sold and will be  into a private fitness center with a workout space, as well as a coffee and juice bar.  This new facility sits next to the Shadow Mountain Golf Club, which recently is added small refrigerators and microwaves to the rooms.  Another building near the golf club is being totally renovated with all-new facade in readiness for a new therapeutic massage and wellness center.
New residents continue to move to the Sunsites community, and new homes continue to be constructed and purchased.  We look forward to assisting Camino Real owners with viewing their propert and building their retirement homes,

Arizona Property: Sunsites Community vs. Sunsites Ranches

Some of our Camino Real clients have purchased lots in the Sunsites community, while others are owners of lots in our Sunsites Ranches development-- about a 20-minute drive from Sunsites along Highway 191.  Some fortunate clients own land in both areas.  With the word "Sunsites" in both names, those less familiar with the area can become confused.  Sunsites always refers to the original planned community, while Sunsites Ranches is our newer land development in the rural countryside.
Both areas offer distinctive advantages.  Sunsites began as a retirement haven that has rapidly grown into a full-service community with many private businesses opening each year.  The core of the community is the village, where commercial development fringes cozy neighborhoods of single-family homes.  For nearly a decade, Camino Real has been offering beautiful acre lots that nestle between the centerpiece of Shadow Mountain Country Club and the village.  Our property owners enjoy country living along the very edge of convenient services and social advantages.
Our Sunsites Ranches development features lots that sprawl over 2.5 acres, each, and command some of the most fantastic views in Southeast Arizona at a distance from city lights and commercial activity.  Those who have purchased Sunsites Ranches lots--which sold out in record time--were interested in owning "ranch-size" properties in the unspoiled countryside with breathtaking mountain views beyond today's development.
