Just three miles north of Sunsites Village along Highway 191, plans are being drawn for a 449-acre "conservation subdivision" that will be every aviator's dream. Morningstar Airpark will have a central runway flanked by home sites that offer hangers for private aircraft. Committed to creating one of the world's finest airparks, the developers selected the Sunsites area for its exceptional beauty, outstanding year-round climate, and four-season recreation. This unique community will preserve 225 natural acres for recreational areas and trails. To quote the developers of Morningstar: "This is Arizona ranchland at its best and there is no other place on earth like it. For pilots, it's heaven: Wide open spaces, endless blue skies, life at its best."

The growing commercial services and amenities in nearby Sunsites will be an important selling point for Morningstar Airpark. Just down the road from home, residents can find a library, schools, churches, personal and financial services, medical offices, shops, and restaurants. They can enjoy the 18-hole Shadow Mountain Golf Course and dining at the Shadow Mountain Restaurant. At the same time, our village will benefit from the additional commercial activity generated by our new neighbors!
