"If Saturday night's VIP opening was any indication, Benson
residents are in for a treat as Gracie's Station, a new restaurant on
State Route 90, officially opens its doors to the public this week. With more than 150 guests, Maggie McEnery, owner of Gracie's, her
family, architects, city officials and construction workers celebrated
the completion of the 12,000-square-foot restaurant. Mayor Mark Fenn said after touring the facility that it was going to be a great addition to the Benson community. 'The facility was very nice and will be appreciated by the residents," Fenn said. "The food and service were excellent and hopefully an indication of how it will be run. I think the McEnery family made a good investment and has done a great job for our community.' The new restaurant will bring more upscale dining to not only travelers along Interstate 10 and SR-90, but also to Benson residents." -Thelma Grimes
Located just 20 miles away from Sunsites, Gracie's Station will surely be a welcome addition to the growing South-Eastern Arizona community.
